Linux Users

AMRITA can be installed, like an RPM, using:

and you need only consult the installation notes to fix problems that arise from peculiarities of your local setup.

Unix Users

AMRITA has, at one time or another, been run under OS X, IRIX, HP/UX, OSF and Solaris, but this release has only been checked under Linux. The installation notes will tell you how to tailor AMRITA to work with your platform.

Microsoft Users

AMRITA does not run under Windows.
